Son Yao Su, known as Chef Song, has worked in the food industry since 1984. What started as a kitchen hand job transformed him into one of the most well-known chefs in Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine.
Chef Song had six years of experience working at Imperial at The Star before Uncle Su opened its doors to the public. Nowadays, Uncle Su features the most well-known dishes, ingredients and cooking styles from different regions of China, including Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan and Beijing cuisines, designed to suit the Australian audience.
Currently, B+S Commercial Kitchens equipment gives Chef Song the power to cook efficiently and accurately. He is able to execute his menu, which feature the unique and coveted dishes such as Uncle Su’s ‘Special Sweet and Spicy Prawns’, effortlessly every time.
